Dr. Kandyce Dewar, DC was born and raised in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada.  After graduation from high school, she went on to earn her Baccalaureate degree in Science Kinesiology from the University of New Brunswick.  She did further studies in physics and chemistry at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia.  In 2006, Dr. Dewar graduated with her Doctor of Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Iowa.  During her time at Palmer, Dr. Dewar volunteered with the Clinic Abroad trip to Manaus, Brazil.  During her visit, she was on a team that provided free examinations and spinal adjustments for over 6,000 Brazilians.  Dr. Dewar completed her clinical requirements early and was awarded the opportunity to complete a residency with her mentors in Canada.  After graduating in 2006, Dr. Dewar spent 2 years practicing with Dr. Dwight DeGeorge, DC, one of the most recognized chiropractic pioneers in the United States.  Under Dr. DeGeorge’s tutelage, Dr. Dewar refined her knowledge of the art and science of a specialized chiropractic technique called Chiropractic Biophysics® (CBP®), the most researched and validated chiropractic technique in the world.
